Explore Serbia through its two biggest cities and Danube river route. Visit Belgrade, Serbian capital and a historical and cultural city, with its rivers Sava and Danube, cultural monuments, historical places, city squares and beautiful streets. Proceed to Eastern Serbia and follow the Danube route, with some of the most beautiful landscape in the country. Then, get to know Novi Sad, the second largest city in Serbia, located around 90 km from Belgrade. Petrovaradin fortress, one of the main landmarks of this city, is located above the right bank of the Danube River and it is one of the best preserved fortifications in Europe. Sremski Karlovci town is located on the bank of the river Danube. It used to be famous for being the seat of Serbian Orthodox Church in the Habsburg Monarchy. It was was also the cultural center of the Serbs in the Habsburg Monarchy.


Day 1 – Arrival to Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport. Transfer to your accommodation and check in. Introduction to the city by a local English – speaking or French – speaking guide. Free time in Belgrade. Organized dinner in one of the traditional Serbian restaurants with live music.

Day 2 – Panoramic tour of Belgrade – Tour includes visit to Saint Sava Church – the biggest Ortodox church in the Balkans, Slavija Square, House of Parliament, City Hall and Saint Mark’s church, Terazije Square, Republic Square – National Theatre, National Museum and Monument to Prince Mihailo, Belgrade Fortress – Kalemegdan park, Victor monument, confluence of Belgrade rivers – the Sava and the Danube, Clock tower, Gratitude to France monument. Optional visit to Museum of Yugoslavia and House of Flowers – Marshal Tito’s Mausoleum or Nikola Tesla Museum – museum dedicated to a famous Serbian scientist and inventor. Return to your hotel.

Day 3 – Danube tour – Panoramic tour of  Danube river and Djerdap National park in Estern Serbia. Drive to Silver Lake with sightseeing and optional coffee break. Proceed to Golubac Fortress and, after, to the city of Smederevo and Smederevo Fortress. Drive to Belgrade.

Day 4 – Tour to Novi Sad and Sremski Karlovci – Visit to Novi Sad, the second largest city in Serbia, located around 90 km from Belgrade. Walking tour through the city with your tourist guide. Free time in Novi Sad. Optional lunch. Drive to Petrovaradin Fortress. Sightseeing of the fortress and later we continue our drive to Sremski Karlovci, center of Serbian culture, a town famous for its nomerous wineries. Sightseeing of Sremski Karlovci – the Orthodox cathedral of Saint Nikolaj, the Roman Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity, Four lions fountain, the Patriarchy Court. Visit to one of local wineries with arranged wine tasting. Drive to Belgrade.

Day 5 – Pick up at your hotel and transfer back to the airport.
